Note sulla sistematica - La località tipo di A. nudiventris è il Lago d'Aral. Borzenko (1950, citato da Sokolov & Vasilev, in Holcík, 1989: 209) considera che i campioni del Mar Caspio appartengano ad una sottospecie distinta, conclusione rigettato da Sokolov & Vasiley. In ogni modo, siccome la loro conclusione è basata solamente su di un coefficiente di differenza, è irrilevante ed inconcludente per una discussione sistematica. Lo status dei campioni del Mar Nero semplicemente non è discussa e nessun dato relativo è presentato nella loro tavola 19. Kottelat non ha potuto trovare una critica comparazione, di prima mano, tra i campioni del Mare Nero, Mar Caspio e Mare d'Aral ma, l'ipotesi che più di una specie sia coinvolta, dovrebbe essere considerata. Sarebbe giustificata anche una comparazione particolareggiata tra le "razze" diadrome e non migratrici.
