Distribuzione di Cobitis tanaitica secondo IUCN

  

Specie diffusa nei bacini della zona nord orientale del Mar Nero, dal fiume Danubio al fiume Kuban. Nel Danubio, Dnjestr e Kuban la sua presenza è limitata al corso inferiore dei fiumi. Risulta più largamente diffusa Nel Bug meridionale e nel fiume Dniepr. Ritenuta presente anche nei bacini dei fiumi Vistola ed Oder, ma necessita conferma.
