Distribuzione di Alburnus chalcoides secondo IUCN

 

Specie diffusa nel mar Caspio, principalmente costa occidentale e sud-occidentale, dai fiumi Ural e Volga al bacino del fiume Safid-Rud. Le popolazioni del bacino del Mare d'Aral potrebbero appartenere a questa specie.
