Distribuzione di Aulopyge huegelii secondo IUCN

  

Specie endemica dell'area carsica della Croazia e della Bosnia Herzegovina, dove è diffusa nei fiumi Zrmanje, Krka e Cetina. Può essere presente anche nei laghi limitrofi. introdotta nei laghi Blidin e Busko Blato. La specie è segnalata in vari torrenti a Livanjsko Polje. La presenza nel fiume Zrmanja non è stata recetentemente confermata.
