(Linnaeus 1758), secondo Kottelat 1997:61 come "kovatschevi".
Nomenclatura valida come "Gobio kovatschevi" Chichkoff 1937, per
Kottelat & Persat 2005:228. Sinonimo di "Gobio bulgaricus" Drensky
1926, secondo Vasil'eva et al. 2005. Scritto due volte
nell'originale "kovatchevi" e "kovatschevi"; non ritrovato
il primo revisore, in mancanza di questo "kovatschevi" è stato
scelto da Eschmeyer 1998:846. Località tipo: fiume Provadiïska, presso la
foce nel mar Nero, Bulgaria. Tipo: nessuno: Sintipi: collocazione attuale
