Distribuzione di Umbra krameri secondo IUCN

 

 

L'area di distribuzione originaria comprendeva gran parte del bacino dei fiumi Danubio e Dniester. Attualmente è molto frammentata. U. krameri è presente a chiazze nel bacino del Danubio, da Vienna al delta, e nel bacino del Dniestr vive solo in una ridotta parte del corso inferiore.
