Distribuzione europea di Lepomis gibbosus

 

 

Specie originaria del Nord America: dal Nuovo Brunswick in Canada alla Carolina del sud negli Stati Uniti. In Europa è alloctona, introdotta con acclimatazione in quasi tutto il territorio, con eccezione dei paesi dove la temperatura invernale impedisce la sopravvivenza della specie.
