Distribuzione di Neogobius fluviatilis secondo IUCN

 

 

Specie originaria dei bacini del mar nero e del mare di Azov e Mar Nero. Invasiva in alcuni fiumi del bacino settentrionale del Mar Nero. Nel Danubio a monte fino al confine tra Ungheria e Slovacchia, nel bacino del Dniepr fino alla Bielorussia. Introdotto nel Lago Balaton (Ungheria) intorno al 1970. Segnalata per la prima volta in Polonia nel 1997 (bacino centrale del fiume Vistola).
