Distribuzione di Pomatoschistus canestrinii secondo IUCN

  

 

Specie diffusa nelle acque costiere e salmastre nel nord del bacino del mare Adriatico, in Italia dal golfo di Trieste a sud fino al delta del fiume Po, lungo le coste istriane e dalmate a sud circa fino a Ragusa (Dubrovnik). Introdotta con acclimatazione nel bacino del lago Trasimeno.
