Distribuzione di Proterorhinus marmoratus

 

Specie diffusa nei fiumi ed estuari del Mar Nero, mare di Azov e mar Caspio, compresi tributari. Nel Mediterraneo, è presente soltanto nei bacini dei fiumi Evros e Strymon, afferenti al mare Egeo settentrionale.
