Il persico spigola, Morone saxatilis (Walbaum, 1792)

Note sulla specie  -  Descriviamo questa specie perché, rivestendo una notevole importanza in acquacoltura, viene sempre più spesso allevata in Europa. L'utilizzo di esemplari puri o di ibridi come pesci da pesca in cava, ha determinato la comparsa di esemplari anche in acque libere. La specie è stata introdotta e si è acclimatata lungo le coste e nei bacini fluviali di alcuni paesi della Federazione Russa.
