Distribuzione di Sander volgensis secondo IUCN

 

 

Specie diffusa nei bacini afferenti al mar Nero settentrionale, dal fiume Danubio (a monte fino a Vienna) al fiume Kuban  (dove è stata indrodotta), e nel bacini dei fiumi Volga e Ural afferenti al mar Caspio. Introdotta anche in alcune località dell'Anatolia.
