Distribuzione di Coregonus sardinella secondo IUCN



Laghi e corso inferiore dei grandi fiumi afferenti all'Oceano Artico, dal fiume Pechora alla Siberia orientale, in Nord America a est fino a Bathurst (Canada). Le popolazioni di "C. albula" presenti nei laghi Mjosa e Osensjoen (Norvegia) potrebbero appartenere a questa specie.
