Distribuzione di Salmo dentex

 

La specie è autoctona della Penisola Balcanica. L'area di distribuzione è limitata al versante adriatico: Croazia, Serbia e Montenegro, nei bacini dei fiumi Krka, Cetina e Neretva, e probabilmente nel bacino del Lago di Scutari.
