Nomi comuni esteri - Inglese - Båtsvatn charr.

Non sono note fonti letterarie che descrivano i salmerini presenti nei tre laghi collegati dalla costruzione dell'invaso di Båtsvatn. Questa popolazione non è stata ancora descritta in modo formale, quindi non esiste ancora una nomenclatura linneana ufficiale. A lungo è stata considerata un ecotipo di S. alpinus, con cui vive in simpatria nel bacino di Båtsvatn.
