	*Distribuzione di Podarcis siculus* secondo IUCN**

L'area di distribuzione della specie comprende tutta l'Italia a sud delle Alpi, incluse Sicilia, Sardegna, Corsica e gran parte delle isole minori tirreniche, il Canton Ticino in Svizzera, la costa orientale adriaticadal sud ovest della Slovenia, Croazia occidentale e meridionale, coste della Bosnia Erzegovina, fino al Montenegro. Popolazioni isolate introdotte sono presenti nella Francia Meridionale, nella Penisola Iberica, sull'isola di Minorca nelle Baleari, su entrambe le rive del Bosforo in Turchia, nell'isola di La Galite (Tunisia) e sull' isola di Lampedusa). Podarcis siculus è stata introdotta in numerose località degli Stati Uniti e probabilmente in Libia e Tunisia. La specie si incontra dal livello del mare, ma può spingersi ad altitudini superiori ai 2.000 metri.
