	*Distribuzione di Rhinechis scalaris* secondo IUCN**

Specie diffusa in gran parte della Penisola iberica (è assente solo dalle coste settentrionali ed alle quote più alte dei Pirenei), lungo litorale mediterraneo della Francia fino al confine italiano. Rhinechis scalaris è presente anche sulle isole di Ons e Arousa in Galizia (Spagna), a Minorca (antica introduzione) nell'arcipelago delle Baleari e sull'isola di Hyères in Francia. La specie si incontra dal livello del mare fino a circa 2.200 metri di quota.
