	*Distribuzione di Zamenis situla* secondo IUCN**

La specie è diffusa nei Balcani dal sud della Croazia (incluse molte isile adriatiche), nel sud della Bosnia Erzegovina, nel sud del Montenegro, in Albania, Macedonia, Bulgaria meridionale e gran parte della Grecia (incluse numerose isole del mar Ionio e del Mar Egeo). Ad est la specie raggiunge la Turchia (Anatolia occidentale). La specie è presente anche nella Crimea meridionale (Ucraina) e sull'isola di Malta. In Italia Zamenis situla è presente nella Puglia centro meridionale e lungo i versanti delle coste ioniche e meridionali. Malta, Crimea meridionale. La specie si incontra dal livello del mare fino a poco più di 1.600 metri di quota.
